New Jersey Cosmetic Dentist Performs Wedding Smile Makeover
At his New Jersey cosmetic dentistry practice, Dr. Harold Pollack performs a wide spectrum of general, cosmetic, and reconstructive procedures. However, for one patient featured in the Beautiful Smiles Winter 2011 Newsletter, a wedding smile makeover performed by Dr. Pollack was the final step to a perfect wedding experience.
As a cosmetic dentist in New Jersey, Harold Pollack, DDS has been practicing for more than 30 years, performing a wide range of dental procedures and building lasting patient relationships. However, he says few are more special than the story featured in the Beautiful Smiles Winter 2011 Newsletter. By performing a combination of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including bonding and teeth whitening, Dr. Pollack created a beautiful smile to enhance one bride’s wedding day.
As the patient explains in the newsletter, she was anxious about her wedding photos following an accident as a child that left her with discolored bonding on her two front teeth. In the article, she says she knew her smile would need to be addressed: “When I began planning my wedding, I knew that those teeth needed to be taken care of before they were eternalized in my wedding album.”
Following a discouraging consultation at another practice, the bride-to-be visited Dr. Pollack at Beautiful Smiles, where he says he always focuses on preserving as much of the patient’s natural teeth as possible while achieving the smile makeover each patient desires. Through the combination of a general cleaning, bleaching, extensive color matching, and new bonding, Dr. Pollack says he was able to create the smile this bride had envisioned on her wedding day. He adds that the smile makeover is important to the success of his practice because of experiences such as this.

Harold A. Pollack, DDS earned his dental degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry, and continues to pursue the latest innovations in cosmetic dentistry with more than 4,000 hours of continuing education. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American and New Jersey Dental Associations, and the Parkey Institute Alumni Association. Dr. Pollack also serves as a lecturer and clinician for the AACD New Jersey Chapter at the Raritan Valley Study Club.
