"When I went to Dr. Pollack’s office in March (2019) I was feeling totally defeated. For years my teeth have been bothering me and making me feel insecure and this was now my 4th dentist opinion. One dentist said that if I wanted veneers I would have to first get braces on the bottom to fix my teeth and then after that get veneers on top and bottom. Another dentist said “oh yea I could see how you don’t have an attractive smile.” Then suggested that I get 10 veneers on top and 10 on the bottom. That was unrealistic as I was on a budget and I have received plenty of compliments on my teeth, I just wasn’t fully happy with the shape and my off shaded color.
After the initial visit with Dr. Pollack and Linda I knew this time was different. They suggested that I do the whitening then 4 veneers on top and it would balance everything out. It was in my budget so I agreed and then my marvelous veneers journey began.
The veneers have honestly changed my life. They are so much better than I could have ever imagined. The shaping is perfect, the color is so natural it blends in with the rest of my teeth. I smile more now and without hesitation. I wasn’t expecting the next thing to happen either, which was caring for my skin and eating healthier foods. It boosted my confidence and gave me more of a reason to take better care of myself overall. A level of which I have never seen nor done before. To me that is priceless.
Lastly and most importantly, Dr. Pollack, Linda, Maria, Kim and everyone in the office made me feel so at home. I couldn’t imagine have had this experience with a nicer, more professional and caring group of people. [post_content] => Before I tell you how life altering this experience has been for me, I want to tell you that Dr. Pollack’s team is second to none. I felt as though I was family from the very second I called for my consultation. I walked into the office with fears from past dentists I have visited and immediately, I was greeting with understanding and real emotion. I knew – I was going to matter to this team.
I had a major accident at nine years old that broke my front teeth. This led to years of insecurity, I was constantly afraid to smile. This led to many different procedures to try and correct the problems but I was always unhappy with the results. This kept me searching for the one dentist that I felt I could trust, and could actually fix my smile.
Before meeting Dr. Pollack and his team I went on numerous consultations – one dentist even told me that my teeth wouldn’t be able to hold veneers. I was devastated. I went on several other visits and felt that no one really cared for me and my fears, until I walked into Dr. Pollack’s office. I knew I would be using his group to help me.

[post_content] => Dr. Pollack and his dental team provided a collaborative environment for the restoration of my smile. After years of tetracycline damage and early damage to a front tooth certain events years later provided the opportunity to begin the restorative process. This was not to be completed overnight. Having several different options available to me, the overall program and commitment was to be substantial. It was clear from my first meeting with Dr. Pollack and his team that this was going to take some time and all participants had to sign for the duration.
Firstly we had to address the appropriate course of action for the front tooth that had deteriorated over the years and now had to be replaced. Once we laid the ground work for this tooth we could begin to discuss the overall smile and how we would accomplish the great results I now find myself with. A great smile is not something I was born with. Braces as a teenager straightened my teeth only to be followed by years of tetracycline damage and later the replacement of a front tooth. That front tooth never quite matched my other teeth. Further complicating the match and installation of the replaced tooth was the tetracycline damage. A match was never achieved. A smile yes, but one that was certainly not rewarding. As we evaluated tooth structure, color, and number of teeth to repair the involvement of the team and Dr. Pollack became quite apparent. It was a system of checks and balances. In and out, back and forth came the team, Dr. and my wife all providing great input and support. It was a comfort level one needs when making changes to your appearance, it was life changing. This process made my choices, my wife’s help and concurrence much easier than expected. We were now armed with a program that would take 18 months to complete with support from all, the entire time. Over the next 18 months, it is sufficient to say that whenever I needed help Dr. Pollack and his team were there. As I recall it was late in the day, on a weekend that I had to make a call to repair a retainer that I had broken. It had to be replaced or repaired before an important business presentation that Monday. Within hours I was in Dr. Pollack’s office evaluating how to get me back on track for Monday morning. Without a hiccup things off without a hitch, he achieved success. I now find myself six months later looking in the mirror admiring the results and wondering why I waited so long. As I’ve said this was a big commitment and one that Dr. Pollack prepared me for not only just prior to and during the process but years later as I returned for annual checkups and the like. This would have been very difficult period had I not had Dr. Pollack’s, the team’s and my wife’s support. For this, I thank you all.

Then, many bleaching attempts and a rather sad looking attempt veneers from my longtime family dentists. Finally, Debbie recommended that I come see Dr. Pollack. I was so impressed by your work, professionalism and the family like atmosphere from that very first consultation, that I knew coming to Beautiful Smiles was the right decision.
You knew what to do from the start. After all, I had a lot of gum tissue which you correctly suspected covered some enamel, so you sent me off to the periodontist. [post_content] => In 1984 I started Stonehenge LTD, a tie manufacturing company in New York City, which helped to create some of the most popular ties in America.
The Jerry Garcia ties, the Cocktail Collection in support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Jimmy V Collection in support of cancer research, Ties for Tibet, Christopher Reeve, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis and Gilda Radner were among other tie programs which helped raise millions towards great cause related organizations. I traveled around the world and was a guest speaker many times to help promote these great causes.
I do have a confession. For many years I had a full mustache so that I could hide my teeth which caused me not to smile often at these engagements. Dr. Pollack finally convinced me to restore my mouth in its entirety to maximize function and to enhance my smile. I took Dr. Pollack’s advice and had crowns, onlays, a bridge and veneers placed. Since the final completion, there has never been a day or two that goes by that someone compliments me or my teeth, smile or overall positive confidence. I now trim my mustache tight and smile all the time when showing my teeth. I love my new look- even with my mouth open.

[post_content] => Up until the day Marc Dworkin underwent cosmetic dentistry at the Millburn, New Jersey, based practice of Dr. Harold Pollack, no one ever commented on his teeth. Now he frequently hears what a beautiful smile he has thanks to the skill and artistic talent of Dr. Harold Pollack.
Marc had thought about changing his smile for years but wasn’t yet ready. He had a root canal on his upper front tooth at age 13 that later began to darken. The night before the grand opening of his restaurant in 1975, he bit into a frozen Milky Way and the root canal tooth snapped completely off. An emergency temporary procedure was done.
In 1982, Marc made his way to Dr. Harold Pollack’s practice. Dr. Harold Pollack replaced his missing tooth with a single-tooth bridge. Even though she had previously had braces, she was not happy with the look of her smile. “Now, they definitely look straight and much whiter as well.” In Dr. Harold Pollack’s endeavor for continuing education, Terry accompanied him to the nationally-renowned Rosenthal Center at New York University where he applied laminates and crowns to improve Terry’s less-than-satisfactory smile. Porcelain laminates are thin, custom-made veneers of high-strength porcelain bonded to the front surfaces of teeth. They are used to correct gaps, color, and poorly aligned and shaped teeth. Porcelain-bonded crowns now use a high-strength porcelain to eliminate the unsightly gray lines that sometimes show with older crowns.
“I was a little nervous before the procedure and was very happy to find out that it didn’t hurt a bit!” Terry said. “Dr. Harold Pollack is truly an artist – and one with a gentle touch. [post_content] => For most of his life, Nick had a fear of going to the dentist. In fact, his anxiety about climbing into a dentist’s chair was so great that dealing with continuous pain in his mouth, and feeling self-conscious when he smiled, seemed to be better alternatives than receiving dental care. But after his first visit to Dr. Harold Pollack’s office, his perception of dentistry began to change.
During regular visits with Dr. Harold Pollack and his team, Nick was well-informed about what to expect during dental procedures. His fear was eased and he was able to receive dental work he greatly needed. His confidence level was increased to the extent that he was able to undergo treatment that would change his life. After a series of procedures, including extractions and periodontal surgery, Nick was ready for dental implants. Implants are artificial replacement teeth. The implants were restored with crowns by Dr. Harold Pollack. They look and feel like Nick’s own teeth, allowing him to chew and smile with ease. Also porcelain laminate veneers were done on the front teeth which were discolored and malpositioned. “It has given me more self-confidence in my appearance and it has allowed me to smile a lot more”, says Nick, who used to try to cover his teeth with his upper lip when he smiled.
He advises those who experience a similar fear of the dentist not to put off taking care of their teeth, since it will only lead to greater dental complications in the future. He was fortunate to develop a relationship with a dentist he trusts. According to Nick, it was Dr. Harold Pollack’s professionalism combined with his accommodating team that allowed him to take the first step towards a healthier mouth. “He has a genuine care for what he is doing and he is very proficient and professional in his approach,” says Nick. “From Harold to everyone in the office, they always make you feel as though you are welcome and they are going to take good care of you”.

[post_content] => I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pollack and his staff! I love each and every one of them and actually look forward to seeing them and catching up on my visits. I’ve been going to the office for six years and was always interested in the idea of getting veneers – my top teeth were smaller than i would’ve liked and worn away after years of grinding my teeth. So since I started out as a patient, I asked Dr. Pollack a thousand questions about the process of getting veneers. He was always patient and happy to spend as much time with me necessary. When I finally decided to take the plunge I felt like I knew all that I should know and any questions that came up were answered happily right away. The process of getting the veneers was as simple and painless as possible, and I am so beyond happy that I did it. [post_content] => Dr. Harold Pollack has been my dentist since I moved into Millburn 25 years ago. He and his staff are the most patient, professional, helpful and caring of any medical office I have ever encountered. Most of the staff have been
there for many years and some have been there from my first visit 25 years ago which says a lot about the environment that Dr. Pollack creates and maintains for his staff and his patients. I have had a fair amount of dental work done over the years which has most recently resulted in my getting Veneers for my top teeth. I could not be happier with the results. The entire process was fully explained to me in detail from the initial visit to my final visit

[post_content] => I got eight porcelain veneers on my top front teeth. Prior to this procedure, I received the most thorough cleaning and screening on my teeth that I’ve ever had. The dental hygienist at Dr. Pollack’s office (Kim) was gentle and caring. Kim was also completely thorough in teaching me the best way to brush and floss to take care of my teeth and gums.
The quality and expertise of Dr. Harold Pollack and his whole team are by far the very best I have ever experienced in a dental office. From the very first visit, I felt completely comfortable and at ease.
